MPS travel grants are available to enhance your dissertation and professional development as a student. $1500/student: ≤$500, pre-2nd proposal, +$1000, post-second proposal) Currently available. Subject to change. MPS leadership will evaluate your request, including your academic standing, and the current availability of funds. Once funding is approved,- Email molecular.plants@wsu.edu to ensure that your form is observed.
- MPS will purchase your airfare using the department account by booking your flight(s) directly through the airline (not through a site like Expedia).
- MPS will purchase your conference registration.
- With any remaining funds, we will send you regulations and directions for receiving reimbursement after your travel
- All purchases will need to be business substantiated
- Any remaining funds? Other travel expenses need to follow university regulations and you will be refunded for your expenses after you travel. Save receipts. Stay within Per Diem allowances for hotel and meals.

- Recipients of the MPS travel grant will be required to present a poster following the Plant Sciences Symposium in February.
