WSU Molecular Plant Sciences: Virtual Facility Tour

WSU Molecular Plant Sciences: Virtual Facility Tour

Covid-19 restrictions kept the MPS program from hosting a traditional in-person recruitment for 2021.  Rather than providing in-person tours of WSU’s research facilities, the MPS program created a video to showcase WSU’s research capabilities.  Featured facilities are the Wheat Research Greenhouse Facility, the WSU Compact Plants Phenomics Facility, the Laboratory for Biotechnology & Bioanalysis, the Institute of Biological Chemistry Phenomics Center, the Vogel Plant Biosciences Building, and the Franceschi Microscopy and Imaging Center.

Timestamps for the video are:
00:00 – Introduction with Michael Neff, Director of the Molecular Plant Sciences Program
00:54 – Wheat Research Greenhouse Facility with Michael Neff, Director of the Molecular Plant Sciences Program
03:45 – WSU Compact Plants Phenomics Facility with Dominik Schneider, Phenomics Manager
05:09 – Laboratory for Biotechnology & Bioanalysis, Genomics & Molecular Biology Core with Derek Pouchnik
